Prepares highly complex pricing strategies for multiple existing and new programs for NPS (Federal)
Looking for a well rounded, well spoken/articulate Pricing Analyst with a strong excel background. They use excel 2007 (we will administer Excel Automated Test).
Business Casual attire – Business Professional attire on occasion.
No clearance needed but US Citizen and clearable is mandatory,
Essential Functions:
The analyst is responsible for leading a proposal capture team in the planning and execution of medium complexity new business cost proposals including providing counsel on RFP, FAR, CAS and disclosure compliance issues. This effort includes establishing and coordinating schedules, monitoring and problem escalation, cost/price model development, pricing cost narrative, price strategy, risk assessment, business case analysis, and preparation/presentation of management briefings. Experience in all types of contracts (T&M, CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, FFP) and cost/price analysis is required. You must have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced deadline oriented environment, excellent verbal, written, analytical and presentation skills, proficiency with spreadsheets and other MS Office applications. The ability to interface with all levels of management is essential. As a team player, you must have the ability to work independently, manage projects from inception to completion.
Essential Knowledge:
Estimating and/or pricing experience with Government Competitive Procurements is highly preferred. Demonstrated understanding of Government Contracting Environment and Accounting Structures, as well as Government Procurement Processes is required.
Essential Education:
Bachelor's degree is required and 6 or more years of pricing experience.
Essential Skills:
Highly analytical and proficient in MS Office. Position requires strong Excel expertise, familiarity with Government RFPs, and an understanding of Government contract types. Candidates must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and presentation skills.
